Eugene A. Bednarzyk

Eugene A. Bednarzyk, of Morristown, TN passed away peacefully on November 7, 2022 at the age of 85 years old.

Eugene was born in Cleveland, OH where he met Carol and started their family.  They moved to Morristown in 1974 where they have lived since.  Eugene worked at TRW as a quality director until he retired in May of 1999.  He spent the remainder of his time with the love of his life, traveling, serving his church (St. Patrick Catholic Church), caring and mentoring his children, grandchildren and nieces/nephews.

He leaves behind many who loved him and will miss him, including his wife, Carol Bednarzyk (Alesnik) of 64 years; five children, Paul (Michelle), Therese Romin (aka Terry), David (Deanna), Dan (Tammy) and Pete (Victoria); eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren (plus two on the way); his brother, Alby (Gerry); sister, Denise Collica; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Alesnik and Carol Alesnik; plus many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at St. Patricks Catholic Church.  A funeral mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow the funeral mass.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to either the American Heart Association or to Our Daily Bread (118 S. Cumberland Street, Morristown, TN  37814.
