Glenda Kreceman Shockley, age 70, of Morristown, was called home by the Lord on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System, due to complications of COVID.
Glenda was born September 14, 1950 in St. Charles, Missouri, to Billy Ray and Glenda Myrle Kreceman. She was a retired LPN, and worked in Hamblen County for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Myrle Kreceman; father and mother-in law, C.A. and Stella Shockley.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ralph Shockley; children, Belinda Roach (Marcos Calzadilla), Pete Shockley, and Amy Shockley (Jamie Lawson); grandchildren, Alison (David) Talton, Jesse (Ashton) Roach, Garrett Vaughn, and Reagan Shockley; 3 great-granddaughters (and the 4th one due in October); brothers, William “Bill” (Jeanne) Kreceman, John (Teresa) Kreceman, Brian “Richard” Kreceman; sister, Jennifer (Donnie) Mutter; brother and sister-in-law, Ray (Linda) Shockley; along with several nieces, nephews and a host of friends; extra special friends, Dennis (Julia) Eslinger.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 5 – 7 P.M. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home. A small graveside service will be Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
Due to COVID, the family is requesting that everyone please wear a facemask.
