Petros (Pete) James Butler, 52, passed away June 21, 2020 at UT Medical Center. Pete was born in Sunderland, England and traveled throughout many parts of the world before landing in the Houston area where he met his wife, (Angelia). Pete was an avid football fan (Go Texans!) and was an active member of The Intergalactic League, a fantasy football team. He was also a lover of guns, billiards, cars, and animals. He was always a positive and upbeat man, an inspiration to his friends and family. He always enjoyed having a dog on his lap, whether it be his own, a granddogger, or someone else’s. Pete always went above and beyond when it came to pleasing his loved ones. An obituary can not do justice to how much he was loved in his life and is dearly missed in death.
Hi is preceded in death by his mother, Chris Butler; uncle, Jimmy Butler; grandparents, Meg and Jim Butler.
He is survived by his wife, Angelia Butler of Sneedville, TN; daughter, Sabrina Smith (Ashley Owens) of Danbury, TN; Aunti, Kathleen Miller (Gordon Miller); cousins, Jayne, Paul, and Harry miller, all of Sunderland, England; BFAM Shaneon Hamilton of Canyon Lake, TX.
The family would like to thank special friends, Steve Koon and Mary Becnel, the Davis family and Knoxville Davita for the caring support given during his life.
Per Pete’s request, no service will be held.
